SELS BUCHAREST ON M&A

Summer ELSA Law School Bucharest on Mergers and Acquisitions takes place between the 12th and the 20th of July, 2020 in the capital of Romania, Bucharest. The aim of this event is to broaden the knowledge of law students and young lawyers in the field of Mergers and Acquisitions, to help themselves develop their negotiation skills, and more academic opportunities.

The accommodation is provided by Class**** Hotel Bucharest, a four-star hotel situated in the North of the city, next to its biggest park, King Mihai I of Romania Park.

The Academic Programme is filled with interesting lectures and interactive workshops, with the help of our Academic Partner, FIDASmart, starting with an Introduction on the first day, then going forward with an analysis on Due Diligence. On the third day, you will be presented the tips and tricks to the closure of an M&A transaction, and, further on, for the last day of Academic Programme, we have prepared for you a day dedicated to learning about the negotiation-related part of this field of expertise.

As far as the Social Programme is concerned, you will start off with a Welcoming event on the rooftop of The House of Parliament, for a cocktail party in which to get to know each other and set the starting point for long-lasting friendships. On the second day, get ready for a Nostalgia-themed party, in one of the most popular nightclubs in Bucharest. And because we know how to throw a great party, we have a neon-themed event for you the following day, when you will shine out all through the late night! We need a day to cool off, of course, so the next evening will be destined for a quiet, BBQ (and karaoke!) night at the hotel, where we can relax and socialize, and most importantly, get ready for the SightSeeing day! In regards to that, you will have the opportunity to choose from multiple versions of programs. Stay in touch for that, by the way! After visiting the beautiful city, you will certainly enjoy a pool party! As we approach the end of this amazing experience, we have two events you need to get classy and sassy for: the AllWhite Party and the Gala Ball: Bubbles and Bowties. We are aware it will be hard to say goodbye after this week of extraordinary social and academic events, but we need to, and we will make sure you go out with a bang, at our Farewell Party.
